Alternative Training Option
Aged Care and Home & Community Care training is by its very nature, a practical learning experience. We have always endeavoured to conduct our sessions holistically, face-to-face, integrating the practical applications with the associated theory components.
COVID-19 requires us to embrace an alternative training option which we hope will be temporary.
- To ensure the safety of our students and staff and the broader community, Wade Vocational Training is now offering an online/blended learning option which allows you complete your theory subjects at home while participating in the essential clinical components of the course face-to-face in small classes in line with government social distancing requirements.
- At all stages of the course you will have access to our support staff.
Education of staff
- All staff have been provided with Department of Health Guidelines on how to protect themselves and others from infection.
- All staff participated in the COVID-19 Training conducted by Department of Health and associated certificates of completion are on display.
- All students are required to participate in the COVID-19 training as part of their Infection Control requirements.
- All staff answering your calls have been educated on up to date information released by the Department of Health and can advise you accordingly.
